Exciting News! Omega Foundation Services is thrilled to announce we’ve been awarded the West Shore Lake Pontchartrain, LA Hurricane and Storm Damage Risk Reduction project, WSLP 114a by the @US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District! This $75.6M initiative is the third phase of this project, and will enhance storm protection for St. John the Baptist and St. Charles Parish, to strengthen the communities for future weather events.
The work consists of clearing and grubbing, floodwall and stop log construction, multi-phase deep foundation work, such as sheet piling, H-piling, pipe piling, precast/prestressed concrete piles, instillation of flood wall access points, instillation of vertical wick drain, horizontal strip drains, stone and bedding construction, slide gates and hoists, precast concrete bridge work, excavation and embankment placement, as well as miscellaneous metal work, fencing, structural excavation and backfill, electrical work, and much, much more!
